The Shah Deniz pipeline 黑料社� also called the South Caucasus pipeline 黑料社� which transports natural gas from Azerbaijan to Turkey, has halted flow for the second time in one month after an explosion occurred on 24 August.
The pipeline had only resumed its usual gas flow on 23 August when the explosion happened near the Turkish-Georgia border 黑料社� the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) has been accused of the attack.
This attack only furthers Turkey黑料社檚 previously addressed plan to deploy thermal cameras and horseback patrols around the pipelines. No doubt these security measures will take place soon.
The European Investment Bank is in discussion with Board of Directors of the bank regarding the possibility of lending 鈧�2 billion to the TAP pipeline project.
