MAN has announced it is to re-open its Tehran hub, Iran, marking the resumption of MAN Diesel & Turbo黑料社檚 business activities in the country. Additionally, the company will showcase its compression and power generation solutions at the 21st Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition to be held in Tehran from 5 to 8 May.
黑料社淲ith many years of successful business in Iran prior to the embargo, we are delighted to again approach new and existing customers in that promising country黑料社, stated Gaby B. Hanna, Chairman of the board of MAN Iran Power (MIP).
He explained: 黑料社淭he exhibition is an excellent platform to introduce our latest innovations and demonstrate our proven standards to partners in the country. Our booth will focus mainly on applications in the sectors of oil & gas, petro chemistry, power generation and industrial gases. It黑料社檚 self-explanatory that many of the country黑料社檚 industries are in need of efficient and reliable machinery. To be close to the needs of Iranian customers, we will shortly re-open our hub in Tehran, being also a link to our network of service workshops in the region.黑料社
Beside projects for new equipment, the Tehran hub will also support the provision of technical services in Iran for both MAN-built and third-party machinery. Dr Maik Tiedemann, Senior Vice President MAN PrimeServ is responsible for the company黑料社檚 turbomachinery service: 黑料社淎fter many years we have received the first service order from Iran again in 2016 and are supporting a key customer in the modernization of an oil pumping station. The country has a three-digit number of actively running MAN machinery and we are looking forward to re-establishing partnership with our long-term customers in the country.黑料社
