Korean engineering company ST Engineering has implemented various Intergraph庐 3D design solutions, enabling it to deliver significant savings in cost and schedule to its clients.
ST Engineering was using Intergraph黑料社檚 PDS庐 plant design system, but was specifically interested in improving its small-to-medium plant design capabilities. The decision was made to purchase CADWorx庐 Plant Professional and CAESAR II庐.
CADWorx Plant Professional is Intergraph黑料社檚 plant design system specifically tailored for the small-to-medium plant market. It includes the most complete range of tools for efficient plant design and has helped thousands of companies create revenue-earning deliverables quicker and more accurately.
CAESAR II evaluates the structural responses and stresses of piping systems to international codes and standards. CAESAR II is the pipe stress analysis standard against which all others are measured.
Since purchasing the two new software packages, ST Engineering has been using them in conjunction with two other Intergraph solutions. While CADWorx Plant Professional is used for piping, equipment, mechanical and electrical engineering for small-to-medium plants, PDS is used for the design of mid- to large-sized plants where PDS standards and deliverables are requested or required to be maintained. Also, Intergraph Smart鈩� 3D is used in the design of larger plants for the marine, metal processing, power and chemical industries.
