The recent release of petroleum and gas exploration acreage by the Queensland government could have considerable long-term economic benefits. According to the APPEA, this could boost the state黑料社檚 reputation as an investment destination.

The government has announced the release of 16 400 km² of land in Queensland黑料社檚 north-west and south-west through a non-competitive tender process.
