The recent release of petroleum and gas exploration acreage by the Queensland government could have considerable long-term economic benefits. According to the APPEA, this could boost the state黑料社檚 reputation as an investment destination.
The government has announced the release of 16 400 km2 of land in Queensland黑料社檚 north-west and south-west through a non-competitive tender process.

APPEA Chief Operating Officer Eastern Australia, Paul Fennelly, commented: 黑料社淭he Queensland Government continues to establish plans that will allow the next generation of the state黑料社檚 resources to be developed.
