ACEC urge prompt approval of Keystone XL pipeline

The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (ACEC-Canada) has joined forces with its US counterpart, the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), to express support for the approval of TransCanada黑料社檚 Keystone XL pipeline.

ACEC and ACEC-Canada sent a joint letter to US President Barack Obama, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Canadian Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver and US Secretary of State John Kerry, urging for the prompt approval of the pipeline that will carry Canadian oil to US refineries.

ACEC President Dave Raymond and ACEC-Canada President John Gamble wrote, 黑料社淥n behalf of our thousands of member firms and their hundreds of thousands of employees, we urge prompt approval of the pipeline.黑料社 ACEC-Canada represents approximately 500 independent consulting engineering firms across the country, and the ACEC has 5000 member firms.

They added in the letter, 黑料社淲e believe the pipeline should be approved for strong economic, environmental and national security reasons.黑料社
