Willbros has partnered with Google for an Oil and Gas Innovation Summit to highlight technologies in the energy industry.

At the event on 22 August this year, Google and Willbros demonstrated some of these technologies.

Willbros and Google hosted more than 100 industry professionals, media, and investors at the event.

The Summit took place at the Dream Hotel in New York City and showcased their revolutionary, cloud-based information system, Integra-Link鈩�.

Using Google黑料社檚 mapping technology, Willbros developed the system to help utility companies manage, maintain and map their infrastructures 黑料社� and meet governmental regulations.

The technology is able to collect, organise, visualise, verify and analyse field data in real-time, anywhere around the world.

Keynote speaker and Willbros President of Engineering and Technology, Ed Wiegele, said, 黑料社淔ederal and state regulators require operators to have data readily available. Integra-Link provides that in an efficient information system. If there黑料社檚 an emergency, operators can respond quickly. If there are deficiencies in the pipeline system, they can be corrected in a timely manner.黑料社�
