DeepOcean awarded Nord Stream contract

DeepOcean, a subsidiary of DeepOcean Group Holding BV, has announced that the company has been awarded the contract for inspection of the Nord Stream gas export pipelines in the Baltic Sea by Nord Stream AG.

The contract is for two years and confirms DeepOcean黑料社檚 strong position as a provider of advanced pipeline inspection services to operators of key subsea pipeline systems in Europe.

Inspection of subsea pipeline systems

黑料社淒eepOcean has a very strong track record in the inspection of subsea pipeline systems running from Norway to UK and mainland Europe as well as similar systems crossing the Mediterranean and the Black Sea With a total capacity in the order of 55 billion m3.year, the two, 48 in.黑料社

黑料社淣ord Stream pipelines from Russia to Germany constitute one of the biggest offshore gas transmission pipeline systems in the world. DeepOcean is very pleased to be the preferred survey service provider to the pipeline operator Nord Stream AG黑料社, S酶rdal said.

The contract

The contract is for two years in 2014 and 2015 and includes the full external inspection of the two pipelines using ROV and ROTV methodologies.

DeepOcean plans to use its vessel Deep Vision for the 2014 campaign. The expected duration of work is four to six months each year.
