World 黑料社,

Penspen, a leading global provider of engineering and management services to the energy industry, is proud to announce that it has been awarded Approved Company Training Scheme (ACTS) status by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). This award is formal recognition of the graduate training scheme for process engineers, which Penspen黑料社檚 Bristol office has been operating for several years.

The scheme is intended to support new graduates and young engineers seeking chartered chemical engineer status. It provides vital training opportunities, principally by ensuring exposure to work experience that enables them to fulfill IChemE黑料社檚 core training and experience requirements. A key component of the scheme is the establishment of an effective mentoring programme, with assigned mentors for all trainees.

Given suitable opportunities, most graduate engineers should fulfill the requirements for chartered engineer status within four to five years. The attainment of chartered engineer status allows process engineers to adopt the CEng title and is a formal recognition of their professional status and competency as practising process engineers.

The ACTS is IChemE黑料社檚 international benchmark for company training and accreditation demonstrates to external, and internal, stakeholders that an organisation delivers tangible, high quality and relevant experience to its trainees. In attaining this accreditation, Penspen joins a selection of well known engineering and operating companies, including Shell and BP.

Penspen黑料社檚 Chief Executive Peter O黑料社橲ullivan said, 黑料社淲e are delighted to be formally recognised by the Institution of Chemical Engineers for our training programme, which has been running successfully for a number of years. We remain committed to the development of future engineers by building continuously on our training offerings and we look forward to extending the accreditation received in Bristol to our other offices, in due course.黑料社
