PAO Severstal, one of the world黑料社檚 leading vertically integrated steel and steel-related mining companies, has announces that it will supply about 140 thousand t of large diameter pipes for Gazprom's major gas transmission projects Power of Siberia and Ukhta-Torzhok-2 following the Gazprom黑料社檚 auction results. The pipes are to be manufactured by the Izhora pipe mill, a part of Severstal黑料社檚 Russian Steel division.

Construction of the pipelines involves supply of 14.2 m dia. pipes produced of K60 grade plates with inner and outer anti-corrosion coating designed for working pressure of 9,8 MPa. Izhora黑料社檚 large diameter pipes are made using self-rolled sheet produced at the 5000 Sheet Rolling Mill at the Cherepovets Steel Mill黑料社檚 #3 Sheet Shop. The pipes to be supplied by the end of 2016.

Sergey Toropov, CEO of Severstal Russian Steel division commented: 黑料社淚zhora pipe mill managed to employ its facilities at full utilisation throughout 2015.
