STATS Group lands emergency pipeline repair contract

Following the completion of a similar large-scale contract for Qatargas, STATS Group has recently been awarded an emergency pipeline repair system (EPRS) contract, worth in excess of £6.5 million. The contract is for ten years work with another major LNG operator in the Middle East.
As highlighted by STATS黑料社 Middle East Business Development Manager, Vikas Shangari: 黑料社淪TATS has executed in excess of 40 isolation projects in the Middle East, ranging from 2 in. to 48 in. on oil, gas and utility pipeline systems.黑料社
Effective repair on subsea and onshore pipelines
STATS Group黑料社檚 scope of work for this new contract includes designing, manufacturing and testing pipeline isolation and intervention equipment for a range of pipeline sizes 黑料社 from 16 - 38 in.
The contract includes the supply of double block and bleed isolation tools, subsea monitoring and communication systems, 32黑料社 and 38黑料社 BISEP intervention tools, and hot tapping equipment.
Installation of isolation and intervention tooling suites will provide positive isolation and a safe environment to carry out effective repair on subsea and onshore pipelines, if they are damaged.
Mature isolation technology to meet client expectations
