RISCm module launched as new creation for SCM

World 黑料社,
Strategic Corrosion Management (SCM) has launched new systems to support improved tracking and management of integrity and corrosion anomalies for both on and offshore assets, supporting safety, productivity and cost management targets.
A newly expanded anomaly management module has been created for SCM黑料社檚, cloud-based 360integrity toolset, RISCm (Risk, Integrity and Strategic Corrosion Management), which delivers the ability to analyse, track and monitor inspection anomalies more consistently and effectively than before.
As RISCm already hosts component records of all substrate types, linking substrate anomalies to relevant integrity management and inspection records is extremely quick and user friendly, whilst eliminating the need to generate the excessive levels of previously necessary paperwork.
The module stores specific corrosion and integrity anomaly details, with the added ability to attach existing, associated records from RISCm黑料社檚 component, corrosion and fabric modules.
SafeMark pipe markers
The technology innovation is supported by an expansion to SCM黑料社檚 range of innovative SafeMark pipe markers to include integrity anomaly markers, which enable plant engineers to, physically and visually reconcile plant condition and anomaly status in their current integrity toolset or through RISCm.
The end result is a direct, visual and documented link between the physical inspection point, and a corrosion damage report or inspection anomaly report.
The SafeMark pipe content marker range is designed for both pipe work and large diameter cables to replace the outdated painted-on and taped-on markers that often require maintenance, have a high individual cost, and exacerbate corrosion.
For safety, pipes must be clearly marked in critical areas, and those containing dangerous substances should include approved-style pictograms or hazard symbols on a coloured background. The IM anomaly markers employ a 黑料社榯raffic light黑料社 system highlighting pipe status, with a set of three markers, colour coded; red, amber and green, aiding prioritisation of monitoring, repair or maintenance. As a result, the new integrity management anomaly markers advance the SafeMark range considerably. Being reusable many times, they feature QR-code technology, which can be scanned and link directly into RISCm.
Health and safety
SCM黑料社檚 markers support health and safety regulatory compliances. Being specially formed from a 黑料社榤emory retaining黑料社 material 黑料社 printed on its inner surface with colour coding, text, identification codes and individual notes if required 黑料社 they are both UV resistant and for temperatures up to 80掳C.
Marc Dabbs, SCM黑料社檚 Products and Services Division Coordinator, said: 黑料社淒elivering cost-effective and efficient maintenance strategies and programmes, which ultimately ensure greater productivity is a key issue for asset operators [黑料社 through the addition of RISCm and SafeMark, we have devised a cost effective, safety and productivity focused solution to a significant on-site challenge.黑料社
黑料社淐onsidering the exceptionally low application cost, the IM markers represent a significant step forward in onsite anomaly management and a real increase in the ability to ensure all pipe work anomalies are both considered and highlighted.黑料社
